accessed directly from Mac, because Microsoft hasn’t implemented BitLocker for
Mac OS, BitLocker Drive Encryption is Microsoft’s full-disk Encryption software
for Windows operating system, we can’t open BitLocker encrypted drive on macOS
& Mac OS X.

Steps to open BitLocker

Step
1: Download the iSumsoft BitLocker Reader for Mac utility
and install it on your Mac computer. After installation is complete, open the
Launchpad and run the BitLocker Reader for Mac.
Step
2: Insert the BitLocker drive and click Ignore button
if it displays the error ”The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer”.
Step 4:
Type the password for the BitLocker disk and click the Mount button to
unlock BitLocker encrypted drive or check the Use key file box, click
the Open button to
import the recovery key file into the utility, and click the Mount button.
Step 5: After BitLocker encrypted drive is mounted and unlockedsuccessfully, you can see an icon of the drive appearing on your Mac’s desktop.
Step 6:Click the icon on your Mac’s desktop to open the drive, now you can copy files
from BitLocker encrypted drive on macOS & Mac OS X.
